Privacy Policy
Effective date: 13 July 2026
Redlive LTD is the controller of personal data processed through this website and its software-licensing services. This notice explains what we collect, why we use it, who receives it, how long we retain it and the rights available under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Data we collect
We may process account and contact information; telephone number; order, invoice and payment-reference data; licence keys, registered domains, activation and renewal records; download and version history; support messages and attachments; development-request details; encrypted temporary hosting credentials where voluntarily provided; IP address, device, browser, session and security logs; cookie preferences; and records proving acceptance of legal terms.
2. Payment information
Card and payment-account details are processed by the selected payment provider. We normally receive transaction identifiers, status, amount, currency and limited payer information, not full card numbers or security codes.
3. Purposes and lawful bases
We process data to create and secure accounts; perform contracts; accept and verify payments; deliver software; issue, bind, renew and enforce licences; provide support and development work; prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised redistribution; maintain audit and consent evidence; comply with accounting, tax, legal and regulatory duties; establish or defend legal claims; and improve service reliability. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business and intellectual property, and consent where specifically requested.
4. Licence and anti-abuse monitoring
To protect Redlive LTD software, we may compare licence keys, authorised domains, activation timestamps, download records, IP addresses and security events. We do not use this information to make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects without appropriate safeguards.
5. Sharing
We share personal data only as necessary with payment processors, hosting and infrastructure providers, email and communications services, security and fraud-prevention providers, accountants, professional advisers, regulators, courts and law-enforcement authorities. Providers acting for us are required to protect information and use it only for authorised purposes.
6. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use recognised safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses, or another lawful mechanism.
7. Retention
Account and active licence records are retained while the account or licence is active. Order, invoice, tax and payment records are generally retained for up to seven years. Security, activation and download logs are normally retained for up to twenty-four months, but may be kept longer where reasonably required to investigate fraud, infringement, disputes or legal claims. Support records are normally retained for up to three years after closure. Temporary hosting credentials should be deleted when work closes and may be automatically purged sooner. Legal-consent evidence may be retained for the limitation period relevant to contractual claims.
8. Security
We use access controls, encryption where appropriate, restricted administration, logging, backups and other technical and organisational measures. No system is completely secure. You must protect your password and promptly notify us of suspected compromise.
9. Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are used for sessions, authentication, security and consent records. Analytics or other non-essential cookies will be used only as described in the Cookie Policy and where any required consent has been obtained.
10. Your rights
Subject to legal conditions and exemptions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. We may retain information where required for tax, fraud prevention, licence enforcement, legal claims or another lawful purpose.
11. Contact and complaints
Submit privacy requests through the website support system and identify the request as a data-protection request. You may also write to Redlive LTD at its registered office. You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you believe your personal data has been handled unlawfully.
12. Changes
We may update this notice to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. The effective date and version will be updated, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
